A Reformed Christian Perspective on Education - Fifty Years of Footprints by Donald Oppewal
The idea of footprints in sands reminds us that, although footprints leave a mark of someone's passing, they are vulnerable to the passing tides of time. I use Longfellow to acknowledge that I intend these essays to serve as a legacy of my beliefs and commitment to Christian schools; they are my set of footprints and inevitably reflect an era of shifting sands. Donald Oppewal
"Though like sand, educational perspectives change with time, basic philosophical and pedagogical questions persist. The author has addressed these foundational issues over the years with passion and insight. This wide-ranging collection of well-reasoned essays attest that they continue to matter."
