Capital City Writers is a professional association for career-focused writers in and around Lansing, Michigan. Meetings are open to the public. This month’s topic is Boost: Power Up Your Prose at the Sentence Level, presented by author and writing coach Teresa Crumpton. In this hands-on workshop, we’ll master three power tools to boost our writing at the sentence level.  Each attendee will get a workbook, which defines the power tools and provides examples of each one.  Next, we’ll practice on samples of text provided by area writers and our own works-in-progress. Be sure to bring a scene or excerpt to work on.
