Featured panelists will include Bill Castanier -- literary journalist for the Lansing City Pulse and founding blogger of mittenlit.com - discussing methods of harnessing New Media in publishing and promotion (websites, Social Networking, e-publishing and self-publishing); Karen Dionne, author of environmental thrillers, co-founder of the online writers' community Backspace, and managing editor of The Big Thrill, a webzine with over 1,100 members in a dozen countries; and Bonnie Bucqueroux, a web pioneer who recently retired from Michigan State University's School of Journalism to devote herself to building new models of online journalism.
