Every Monday night the Chapbook Café will host a Board Game Night for lovers of old-school face-to-face gaming fun! Play one of our board games - including chess, Scrabble, Monopoly, Clue and Blokus - or bring one of your own. Some nights we’ll teach you how to play a new game, others we’ll just brush up our skills on old favorites. We’ll also feature a weekly drink special!

Fanged Fiction Book Group Meeting
Tuesday. July 29. 7:30 p.m.
Horror readers unite! This month’s pick for the Schuler horror reading group is Battle Royale by Koushun Takami. This thriller is considered a contentious contemporary Japanese classic that reached its fame largely through the government’s criticism of it. Described as a Lord of the Flies for the 21st century, the book has already been made into two films and a 15-volume manga series. It is currently under production for an American film adaptation. Each monthly selection is 20% off.

Planet F.I.C.T.I.O.N Writer's Workshop
Tuesday. June 24. 7:30 p.m.
Planet F.I.C.T.I.O.N.'s second meeting goes over the top with a look at writing diverse characters entitled "Who You Are Not: What to do when you're a Heterosexual WASP Male Bus Driver Writing a Caribbean Lesbian Detective Novel." followed by the ever popular open workshop.

Breaking Dawn Release Party

Join us for our Breaking Dawn Release Party, celebrating the release of the fourth and final book in the phenomenal, internationally best-selling Twilight Saga.
