In concurrence with state guidelines, and in the interest of protecting the well-being of our communities, all events have been moved to an online platform (i.e. Zoom conferences and Facebook events).  In Grand Rapids, we are also cancelling all Studio uses. As a widely used community gathering space we feel this was the appropriate decision to make.

We will continue to monitor government recommendations in the coming days as we make decisions regarding future events. Updates will be posted on our Facebook and Instagram pages and SchulerBooks.com.

How are you still able to ship books?

The warehouse and distribution centers that ship books are currently unaffected by, or exempt from, shelter in place orders, making it possible to continue to get books to you at home. We are shipping from stock in store as we are able. 

 

How can I get a signed copy?

If you know we have signed copies (i.e. The author tags us in a post on social media, or we post in an email or on social media) indicate you would like one in the comments box at checkout when ordering. Getting signed copies to you is a little more difficult logistically these days, but we are doing our best to make it happen.

 

Can I order a book that has not been released yet?

Yes! We take pre-orders on any book not yet released. Check out our currently featured pre-orders here.

 

Can I get an out-of-print or print on demand book?

Yes. Order a book published by our Chapbook Press here, and order out-of-print local titles here.

 

Can I order used books from the website?

Can I order Puzzles, Games, or Gifts from the website?

What is USPS Media Mail?

USPS Media Mail Media Mail is a way to send educational materials.This service has restrictions on the type of media that can be shipped. Books of at least 8 pages meet this requirement. USPS Media mail ships within 2-10 days. In our experience, the typical delivery is taking 2-4 days. Should you wish expedited shipping, it is available for an additional cost.

 

Can I pick up my order Curbside?

Yes! Curbside pickup will be available during store hours every day. Call us at 616.942.2561(Grand Rapids) and 517.349.8840 (Okemos) to place your order. 

 

Are Gift Cards Redeemable online?

Yes! Simply click “Gift Card” in the payment method section of checkout.

 

How do I keep up with changes?

Things are changing quickly these days! We keep our website updated, however, remember to refresh your browser (the little circular arrow on the right side of the search bar) each time you return. Sometimes your computer will return you to a cached (old) version of the page.

Additionally, consider signing up for our weekly email newsletters. We often have exclusive contests and giveaways only for our enews readers. Sign up for our emails here. If you previously signed up, but are not seeing us in your inbox, save schulerweb@gmail.com to your contacts so that we don’t end up in your spam folder.
