Praise For…

I was blown away by the loveliness of the illustrations in this gorgeous book. I just had to flick right through and enjoy them all before settling down to read the fables. And I wasn't disappointed - the quality of the storytelling is equally captivating... what sets the book apart is the fact that they are portrayed in an African setting - and the illustrations reflect this too. This adds a new level of interest to the familiar and the end result is superb.

A delightfully illustrated book to pick and choose fables, or just read all the way through, while enjoying the vibrant colours of Africa in Aesop's world.
