If the book will afford amusement now and in the future prove a souvenir of the amiable fellows represented in its pages it will have realized the object of the compiler and fulfilled the expectations of those who made its existence possible. ... Not all the “Friendly Fellows'' of Grand Rapids are represented in this book, but those that are represented afford a reliable and comprehensive index of the whole.
