One Thing

Beth has a background in classical studies and a degree in Creative Writing from Grand Valley State University.  She is a native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, who has also lived in Chicago, Toronto, and Lawrence, Kansas, among other places.  These poems are a reflection of her life as a student, activist, mother, and writer, sometimes all at once, in the years from the Vietnam War to the present.
