Satan Don't Give Out Eggs by William Beatty
Back covers of books usually feature endorsements and commentary regarding the importance and worthiness of the particular tome. You will find no such endorsements here, the author being too shy to ask friends and family to say nice things which they may or may not actually mean. A bribe was considered, however, the author being less than affluent and, being a paragon of honesty and virtue, said bribe was foregone. Just read the book.
William Beatty is a native of Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was born in 1950 and has gotten old far earlier than he had expected, so in 2015, he retired. He spent his working years as, first, a paramedic, then a registered nurse, but still doesn’t know what he wants to be when he grows up, should that time ever come. When he was three years old, he wanted to be a fire truck. Today he realizes that dream will probably never come true. He loves walking and biking through his city and kayaking on Reeds Lake. He also enjoys writing, baking bread, and cooking. He is often seen around town standing in front of fire stations with a wistful look on his face and a tear in his eye.
