About the Book:
Then There Were Six is a book that celebrates family, no matter how they look or how they come together. The Itty family is a groovy manatee family that want to open their hearts and ocean home to a new little one. You'll cheer on the family as they navigate the Abyss Court and the ever salty Oct-O-Judge. Clare Itty and Hugh-Man Itty team up to do something heroic and unexpected. The reader will be rewarded with an ending as happy as...a peace sign with butterfly wings.

About the Author:
Pam Ostrander has been an Elementary Educator for over 30 years. She spent the past fifteen years working for Williamston community Schools in Michigan. The publication of Then There Were Six comes on the heels of her debut, A Mask for Molly in December 2020. Inspired by incredible people in her own life, Ostrander penned Then There Were Six to shed light on the beauty of all families-no matter how they come to be. This tale of adoption illustrates the power of love, kindness and understanding. Ostrander teams up with a former student, Seth Pennington who at 16 has now illustrated two books with Ostrander.
